Sandgrab Productions started out as a distraction from Computer Science homework in 2018. While up at 2 AM, founder Amber Davis put down her laptop and began drawing the logo for Sandgrab.

Sandgrab Productions started out as a distraction from Computer Science homework in 2018. While up at 2 AM, founder Amber Davis put down her laptop and began drawing the logo for Sandgrab.

The name came from a lesson learned while body surfing in Culebra, Puerto Rico. “When the waves get too big, dive deep, grab the sand, and hang on.” This tip turned into a fundamental life lesson for Amber and her journey through life. And it is currently a fundamental principle of Sandgrab Productions.

I have been employed in the tech world since 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. In December 2020 I decided to stop working for others and find my own path. I learned the ins and outs of running a successful business and have been a web developer/designer for over five years working with nonprofits and small businesses as side gigs.
